Attorney Elizabeth M. Streefland
Elizabeth M. Streefland founded the Streefland Law Firm in 1994 after she successfully navigated the immigration system for a member of her own family as her first case as a practicing lawyer. Since then she has continued to focus her practice on immigration law from her office in Minneapolis, representing thousands of clients through her career with an emphasis on employment-based immigration.
Ms. Streefland is a popular speaker and advocate on immigration issues and serves as a mentor attorney for newer practitioners and volunteer attorneys for The Advocates for Human Rights. Ms. Streefland is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and an adoptive parent who always takes time to counsel other adoptive families who need immigration advice.
In her spare time, Ms. Streefland enjoys adventures, cooking, the fiber arts, the opera, although most of her time is consumed with raising her young children and unsuccessfully training Toka, her young labradoodle.
