By becoming actively involved in current immigration legislation, you can help to protect and promote the basic human rights of immigrants in the United States. Your Representatives in Congress value your opinion and welcome your input. The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) “is committed to educating the public and members of Congress about the ways in which U.S. immigration law and policy serves the national interest by reuniting American families, protecting refugees, and providing U.S. employers with the specialized skills they need to remain globally competitive.”

Visit AILA’s Advocacy Center, which contains current information on important legislative issues, AILA’s position on immigration-related bills, and links to assist you in voicing your opinion to your Representatives in Congress.
